PUBLIC LENDING SCHEMES
The authorities, primarily the Government of Greenland, supports agriculture and fisheries.
Funding is provided for replacement of fishing boats active in inshore fishing and for innovative projects, experimental fishing, and the like considered to be of use for the development of the fishing resources of Greenland and the utilization hereof.
The government and the municipalities provide loans for financing housing. Up to 40 per cent of the construction cost of single-family homes may be loaned.
